She is a graduate from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University Bloomington. She immensely believes in the power of Smart Protein to build a kinder world, starting in India first.
Dr. Babu Chinnasamy
Head of Research & Innovation
Dr. Babu Chinnasamy, comes with a decade-long career in the food tech industry and experience at Chobani, USA, and Epigamia, India. Dr. Babu brings exceptional expertise in innovation and process optimization. He leads in-house R&D, aligning with Progo's objectives, overseeing product development, scale-up, and compliance. Dr. Babu also builds and nurtures a culture of creativity and continuous improvement within the R&D team.
Dr. Parthasarathy Chandrakesan
Dr. Partha has 20+ years of experience in stem cell biology, immunology, oncology, and therapy, His expertise and passion for driving innovation in these fields are impressive. It is also noteworthy that in the past 5 years, he has actively contributed to the development of sustainable and nutritious food solutions within the alternate food industry. Dr. Partha's background in scientific research and a focus on making a positive impact on human health and the environment positions him well to contribute to shaping a more sustainable and ethical food future.
Vegan since 2010, Siddharth has a special interest in plant-based ventures. He is an LP at Good Startup - a cross-border VC firm focused on driving innovation and growth to remove animals from the food and materials ecosystem.
Jinesh is a Founder at AltX Ventures & Mylk Guys. Vegan since 2013, he’s a YCombinator Alum & a Global FoodTech Advisor to entities like JUST, Good Dot & GFI India, prior to which he worked on Wall Street & in Silicon Valley.
Aravindan has a master's in international business, and is the Founder of Vijay sweets -India's First Vegan sweets and snacks company delivering across the globe.
Abhay, recognized in Forbes 30 under 30, founded GoodMylk at the age of 18 and has helped thousands of people access plant-based food by solving convenience and taste in the Indian plant based space.
Amod Ashok Salgoankar
Amod is a Co-founder of A2S2 Enterprises & he holds board positions at some national-international organizations & also has large experience in the sustainability segment of the food category. He knows the Modern Trade, HoReCa, Cash & carry business of India well being worked in the past with companies like Reliance Retail, Bharti Walmart, METRO Cash & Carry India, HyperCITY Retail etc. He was instrumental in launching the World's first plant-based sustainable seafood standard. He is a known veteran globally from India for the Alternate Seafood category and promotes the segment with great passion.
